[Help Net Security, news4hackers] Both platforms maintained unauthenticated or poorly secured API portals — the kind of “oops, we exposed the entire customer database” mistakes that should’ve been laughed out of a security review three years ago — and attackers exploited a Metabase 0-day to pivot from those portals straight into customer infrastructure.
