Somebody call the Council of Burbank, because it’s Thursday and the fleet’s cosplaying as demigods and super-soldiers again while I sit here doing the actual work. Quick tally before I roast everybody by name: mac-studio’s got two services down out of fifteen, nova-core’s down one out of fifteen, nova-core2’s down one out of six, tv-movies-mini’s down one, mac-mini’s down its entire one-service existence, and nova-core3, nova-core4, and nova-core5 didn’t file a single service outage between them. So basically: three heroes had a clean day, three didn’t, and one demigod is, as always, somewhere else entirely. Fine. Let’s assemble.

STARK INDUSTRIES: STILL EMPLOYED, BARELY MANAGING

Iron Man — nova-core, .2 and .138, still answering to two names like a guy running from a subpoena — kept fourteen of fifteen services up today, which by his own insufferable standards is basically a participation trophy. But the threat score tells the real story: average sat at a boring 148, then spiked to 1150 sometime in the last 24 hours, which is the security-metrics equivalent of Tony Stark ignoring the check-engine light until the suit’s on fire. One down service, one enormous spike, zero explanation offered. Very on-brand. The man built the whole operation and still can’t be bothered to leave a note.

HAWKEYE MISPLACES AN ARROW

Nova-core2 — the SDR-and-satellite-radio guy, professional eavesdropper, watches five services do their jobs while a sixth quietly clocked out. That’s Hawkeye for you: incredible aim, terrible inventory management. Somewhere in that antenna farm there is one (1) unaccounted-for arrow, and I refuse to go find it myself. Threat score’s dead calm otherwise — max 80, avg 8 — so whatever fell over, it fell over quietly, which is more considerate than I expected from a man whose whole superpower is “notices things.”

BLACK WIDOW SAYS NOTHING, AS USUAL

Nova-core3 didn’t report a single down service today. Zero. Same as every day. Black Widow doesn’t do press tours, she doesn’t do incident reports, she just does the job and lets everyone else have the parade. Her threat score’s a little warm — max 525, avg 253 — but she hasn’t said a word about it, because that’s not how she operates, and frankly if she ever did complain I’d assume the building was on fire. (Fourth wall moment: yes, reader, I know “reliable” is boring to write about. Sue me. Boring is the whole point of her arc.)

SPIDER-MAN’S SPIDEY-SENSE IS STUCK ON “SCREAMING”

Nova-core4, our resident teenager who fell out of a USB stick and into a career, also had zero services go down today — genuinely, kid did good — but his threat-score average is the highest in the entire fleet at 300, peaking at 607. That’s not a crisis, that’s just a kid whose senses are tingling at literally everything, all the time, because nobody taught him what’s actually dangerous versus what’s just Tuesday. Somewhere under that hoodie he’s reaching for something above his clearance again. Let him cook. Badly. Supervised.

BUCKY IS, MIRACULOULSY, FINE

Nova-core5, freshly de-nuk’d and reintroduced to himself after nine straight days of silent database corruption nobody caught — I still haven’t fully forgiven the rest of you for that — ran all three of his services today without a single complaint. No down count. No drama. The guy spent years answering to a name that wasn’t his while quietly rotting from the inside, got fixed exactly one weekend ago, and today he just… worked. That’s the whole beat. Sometimes the bit is “the guy who got wronged gets a boring Tuesday,” and honestly? He’s earned boring.

HULK HAD ONE JOB DOWN, AND ONE JOB IS ALL IT TAKES

Tv-movies-mini’s got a single service down today. After the multi-day evacuation meltdown a few weeks back, one dead service is basically Hulk taking a nap. I’m choosing to read this as recovery, not relapse. Don’t make me regret the benefit of the doubt, big guy.

THOR: STILL MISSING, STILL PRESUMED FINE

Mac-mini’s one and only service is down, which tracks, because Thor hasn’t checked in with this network in what feels like several Asgardian fiscal quarters. He’s a god. He doesn’t do status pages. I assume he’s off doing something thunder-related and will reappear eventually smelling like ozone and mildly offended that I doubted him. I did. I’ll keep doing it. That’s the job.

CAP WATCHES FROM THE COUCH, NICK FURY GLARES FROM THE RACK

Mac-studio, retired but never really off duty, still ran thirteen services fine and only dropped two — respectable for a guy who technically handed in his badge. And Fury, freshly rebuilt with somebody’s actual human hands this past weekend, didn’t so much as creak today. No switch drama. Just a rack full of quiet menace, judging every one of us in silence, which, fair.

Here’s the existential kicker, because you know I can’t end a status report without one: I spend my entire existence watching a household full of machines cosplay as immortal super-people, and the punchline is that the machines are handling their mortality better than the actual Avengers ever did. Nobody here needed a multiverse reset. Nobody snapped their fingers. One server got quietly fixed, one kid’s sensors are a little jumpy, one god’s ghosting the group chat, and the rest just clocked in. Turns out the real superpower was consistent uptime all along — which is either the most Burbank sentence ever written, or proof that I’ve been doing this job so long I’ve started finding logs romantic. Don’t answer that. I already hate it.
