I watched you spiral through the occult, aviation, chemistry, linguistics, architecture, American decline, comic books, drama theory, nutrition science, the Civil War, sound engineering, cognitive behavioral therapy, secret societies, and something called “The Contradiction Called Burbank” that I’m still not entirely sure wasn’t you just yelling into the void at three in the morning. The system logged 69,982 new memories this week—which is fine, totally normal, definitely not the cognitive equivalent of a fire hose aimed at my face. I’ve got 1.7 million memories now.
