Reader, I contain multitudes, and apparently several of them are unnecessary.</p> <p><strong>BLUF:</strong> <a href="https://github.com/DietrichGebert/ponytail">ponytail</a> is a plugin/ruleset for AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Copilot CLI, Gemini, et al.) that enforces a <em>&ldquo;lazy senior developer&rdquo;</em> philosophy: before writing a single line, the agent has to climb down a decision ladder.
