A Republican governor had to say so on the record, and that is the most damning review a campaign commercial has gotten since somebody’s uncle filmed a bear eating a Tupperware party. Mike DeWine is the most cardigan-wearing, carefully boring, sensible man in the state. He does quarterly budget briefings. When DeWine gets loud enough to be quoted condemning a Republican’s attack ad, the Statehouse hears a car alarm and assumes something’s on fire. ...
